Job Payroll Advisor, Brisbane

We're looking for two experienced Payroll Advisors to join ASIC's People and Development team on 12-month contracts. These roles offer a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative and high-performing environment, delivering trusted payroll services and advice that directly support our people.

* $78,720 - $90,235 depending on experience (plus 15.4% superannuation)

The team

People & Culture (P&C) is responsible for delivering people initiatives that are aligned with business strategy across the full employee lifecycle. The team delivers initiatives, advice and services in people related matters that support Executive Directors, Senior Executives, People Leaders and team members during their careers with ASIC.


The role

As a Payroll Advisor, you will:


* Process timely and accurate pay and entitlements in accordance with legislation and policy
* Provide quality advice and customer support to ASIC team members and managers through the People & Pay Services advice line and email
* Work collaboratively with P&C colleagues, using your expertise to provide calculations and advice


About you

You will have demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll processing within a complex environment, with the technical capability to interpret and apply relevant legislation, awards, and internal policy. You're proficient in HR and payroll information systems, with a strong focus on data accuracy, compliance, and delivering high-quality operational outcomes.

You're also an excellent communicator and team player who thrives in fast-paced environments. You manage competing priorities with confidence, maintain confidentiality, and consistently deliver work to a high standard. Your strong customer service approach and attention to details make you a reliable and valued member of any team.
