The Opportunity
A well-established, Australian-owned business with national operations is seeking a motivated and capable individual to step into a Credit Officer position to support the national credit function.
Based in Darra, this full-time role offers the chance to work as part of a national credit team within a dynamic, fast-paced B2B environment. You’ll be joining a close-knit group, contributing to credit risk assessments, collections, direct debit processing and credit administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Process new credit applications, assist with credit limit reviews, maintain accurate customer records, and support onboarding procedures.
- Manage daily banking, receipting, coding of remittances, and support direct debit and credit card processing activities.
- Provide timely, professional responses to internal and external inquiries, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
- Assist the team with ad hoc credit tasks, and proactively manage the shared credit inbox.
Skills & Experience
- Keen interest in developing a career in credit
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build effective internal and external relationships
- High level of accuracy, time management, and ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Collaborative, proactive, and customer-focused, with a willingness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement.
