Our client is a well-established and Australian family owned, specialist IT distributor providing their valuable partners with knowledge and growth opportunities. They are well known for supporting local business, both small and large, and providing tailored business solutions to assist their customers. Operating with a turnover of $140m+, they have showrooms and distribution centres in major cities across Australia.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the Branch Manager - Queensland, you will be managing a portfolio of assigned customers, developing growth from existing customers, and actively seeking new sales opportunities. You’ll bring strong relationship management skills, a solid understanding of technology (AV desirable), and the ability to deliver client-focused solutions that meet technical and commercial needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed sales budgets by maximising all brands in AV category
- Maintain minimum periodic customer sales activity points and enter interactions with all customers in CRM transactions
- Develop strong relationships with customers and their stakeholders
- Create and maintain strategic account plan for each assigned customer
- Identify growth opportunities within Queensland territory to meet and exceed Branch budgets
- Forecast and track key account metrics
You Will Have:
- Proven experience in sales (retail or distribution) or account management
- An understanding and knowledge of AV technology and general channel industry are desirable
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Able to work in a team and independently to achieve sales and profit targets
- Strong experience working with CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel is a must)
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail and deadlines
- Must have own transport and valid driver licence
