Fantastic is looking for an Inventory Supervisor to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in our distribution centre operations in our Wacol site in Queensland.
About the Role:
As an Inventory Supervisor, you will:
* Oversee scheduled stocktakes and cycle count processes.
* Lead investigations into stock discrepancies.
* Ensure accurate stock quantities and locations.
* Collaborate with state Inventory Supervisors.
* Assist the National Inventory Manager in maintaining inventory documentation.
* Role is based in our Wacol site and is a full-time role (Monday to Friday) with occasional weekend work required during stocktakes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and mentor an inventory coordinator, fostering a high-performing and engaged group.
* Resolve inventory issues promptly, communicate with stakeholders, and improve inventory movement and systems.
* Conduct cycle counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and coordinate stocktakes.
What We're Looking For:
* Skills: Intermediate Excel skills, strong Microsoft Office experience, excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Document writing and reporting skills strongly regarded.
* Attributes Strong communication skills, attention to detail, team player, and customer-focused. Someone who likes to get involved!
* Licences: Any licences such as Forklift, LO, High reach etc beneficial, though not essential – must be open to training and obtaining these.
