With a strong pipeline of major projects and steady business growth, our client is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead a small, high-performing team and drive business development across key sectors.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, results-oriented business where you’ll take charge of a small, successful sales team. You’ll be responsible for driving revenue, nurturing major accounts, identifying new market opportunities, and playing a key role in the company's expansion throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of high-performing sales professionals
- Develop and execute sales strategies across energy, utilities, infrastructure, and industrial sectors
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and major accounts
- Oversee tender submissions, pricing, and contract negotiations
- Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to ensure successful project outcomes
- Report on pipeline activity, performance metrics, and market trends
- Represent the business at industry events, meetings, and trade shows
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or Senior BDM in electrical contracting, infrastructure, or industrial services
- Demonstrated leadership in managing a sales team and driving consistent growth
- Strong commercial acumen and market insight across QLD and the East Coast
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills
- A proactive, strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with Tier 1/Tier 2 clients or utilities is highly desirable
