We are currently recruiting for a Sales Rep / BDM on a part-time permanent or casual basis for SurgicalPerformance. This role will focus on business development activities, sales, account management, and expanding in existing markets and into new markets and geographical areas throughout Australia and New Zealand.

SurgicalPerformance delivers a cloud-based performance tool for surgeons to monitor and track their surgical performance with the overall goal of helping medical professionals be the best they possibly can. This software solution provides surgeons with data-informed feedback on surgeries and patient outcomes to assist surgeons to be better informed, to self-assess, and to further improve patient outcomes.

THE OPPORTUNITY:
  • Develop and implement a business development and sales strategy for the product.
  • Be responsible for new business development, sales, developing relationships, maintaining existing customer relationships, account management, and increasing brand awareness in the marketplace.
  • Grow and develop awareness of the brand and the product in new and existing markets and geographic regions in line with organisational goals, growth plans, and values of the company.
  • Work closely with the Managing Director and other team members to develop strategic business development activities that will meet organisational goals.
  • Work closely with Product Development and Customer Support teams to ensure excellent and ongoing customer service and account management is achieved for all customers.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Report directly to the Managing Director and regularly liaise with other team members, and other internal and external stakeholders, as required.

RELEVANT SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Proven experience working in a business development, sales, account management, or similar type of role.
  • Highly developed customer service, networking, and business development skills to create business and sales opportunities in new and existing markets and geographic areas.
  • Experience working within a surgical, medical or pharmaceutical sales field is highly desirable.
  • Experience in developing and presenting proposals, quotes, and sales agreements for prospective and existing customers.
  • Demonstrated experience working towards sales targets and KPIs.
  • Keen organisational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
  • Capable of being attentive and timely with administrative tasks.
  • The ability to pick up new software quickly and intuitively.
  • Qualifications in Business, Marketing, or other relevant discipline is desirable, however not essential.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
  • This is a part-time permanent or casual role.
  • This is a remote, work from home role – ideally you will be based in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast or SE QLD region.
  • Salary for the role is negotiable based on the successful candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications and fit for the role.
  • Salary will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
  • There may be some occasional travel in this role, such as conferences or events to attend.
  • You will be expected to conduct the majority of meetings and product demonstrations online using online meeting technology (such as Zoom).
  • You will be required to meet targets and KPIs in this role and there will be performance related bonuses based on successfully meeting targets.
  • Culture and team fit will be an important determinant for the organisation in recruiting for this role.
  • You will be required to meet with the Managing Director and other team members as required.
  • Must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role.
