Job FIFO Electricians, Brisbane

Our client is currently seeking experienced Underground Electricians for FIFO work in the goldfields in WA. This role involves the maintenance of underground electrical infrastructure and will operate on a 2:2 roster (7 days / 7 nights). This is a 6-month contract with potential for ongoing work.

What is needed to be considered?
• Underground hard rock mining experience (non-negotiable)
• Strong HV background
• WA Electrical Licence (or willing to apply – no QLD mutual recognition)
• Trade Certificate in Electrotechnology
• National Police Clearance (within 3 months) or willing to obtain
• HRWL, White Card
• Working at Heights, Confined Space
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen

What you’ll be working on
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across underground electrical systems, including:
• HV/LV power distribution, MCCs, transformers
• Ventilation fans and air management systems
• Pump stations, conveyors, crushers
• PLC/SCADA, gas detection & monitoring systems
• Lighting, fire suppression, and emergency systems
