About the role:
We have a unique Team Leader opportunity where you will mentor a team of dedicated and highly engaged consultants, while playing a pivotal role in the growth and development of the organation's presence.
As a Team Leader, you will contribute to the company's growth strategy and business plan through business development, marketing initiatives, and stakeholder engagement. This includes attending marketing meetings, setting goals for customer engagement, participating in regional events, and delivering exceptional customer service in occupational rehabilitation. You’ll have opportunities to work on current projects and help shape new pilot programs. A key part of the role involves mentoring and leading the Consultant team through regular case reviews, performance management, administrative oversight, and team check-ins. You’ll also support the Operations Manager with referral management and workflow allocation, prepare quotes and proposals, and assist other regional teams (Toowoomba, Gold Coast, and FNQ) when needed.
In addition to leadership responsibilities, you will manage a caseload that balances direct service delivery with team leadership and business development objectives. This includes working with clients facing a range of physical and psychological challenges and supporting them in either returning to their previous roles or finding new employment opportunities. Clients will come from diverse funding sources including workers' compensation, DVA, QSuper, and more. The role involves travel across Southeast Queensland and, occasionally, other regional areas, as required.
This is a full-time position, with 4 days in the office in Brisbane's CBD.

About You:
- A background in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology or Rehab Counselling
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications and registration
- A minimum of 3+ years of occupational rehabilitation experience
- Ideally experience with WorkCover QLD, DVA, income protection schemes and working directly with Employers
- Outstanding communication and networking skills
- Excellent writing skills and experience writing reports
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Australian driver's licence
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally as needed
- Eligible to work permanently in Australia
