The opportunity
As our Client Executive Director, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining our relationship with the QLD Government. Working with our Queensland Managing Partner, Queensland Government Leader, and other Government-facing Client Service Partners (CSPs), you will shape the strategy for winning and delivering work to differentiate EY and increase the value the Government receives from our services.
This is a hybrid position based in Meanjin Brisbane. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Your key responsibilities
- Client Engagement & Strategic Leadership: Lead the Government experience effort to enhance satisfaction and gather insights, spending approximately 80% of time externally focused with Government stakeholders, acting as a proxy for Global Client Relationship Partners, and driving exceptional client experiences and pursuit leadership.
- Account & Revenue Planning: Oversee strategic and tactical account planning to support long-term growth and revenue targets for EY, including pipeline hygiene, forecasting accuracy, and participation in budget cycles. Support must-win opportunities through coordination across Markets and reporting to the Oceania Markets Board.
- Enablement & Investment Management: Define long-term investment needs for account delivery, support Client Service Partners in accessing and managing resources, build strategies, and ensure alignment with EY programs and insight loops through collaboration with the Account Manager and cross-market teams.
Skills and attributes for success
- Client-Centric Relationship Management: Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and client management skills, with a strong ability to build high-impact relationships both internally and with clients.
- Strategic Thinking & Commercial Acumen: Bring advanced skills in account strategy, planning, and management, with a strong commercial focus that aligns Government priorities with EY’s value propositions. Capable of challenging perspectives and fostering collaboration to centre solutions around client needs.
- Agility, Influence & Execution: Quickly build content knowledge across EY’s service offerings, lead multi-disciplinary teams in solutioning, and operate with self-direction to drive outcomes while influencing others.
