Full Stack Software Engineer (MERN / Next.js / TypeScript) Full Time

Salary: $80,000 $120,000 AUD (inclusive of superannuation)

Labrys is a blockchain technology company based in Brisbane. We help businesses design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge blockchain solutions, including mobile and web applications. We work across various industries and use-cases including DeFi, NFTs, and enterprise blockchain systems.

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer with experience in developing high-quality applications using the MERN stack, TypeScript, and Next.js. This is a full-time, on-site role ideal for someone with strong React and Node.js skills and demonstrated experience in blockchain or Web3 development.

• End-to-end development of applications using MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js)

• Develop mobile apps using React Native

• Build and launch blockchain applications and smart contracts

• Analyse technical requirements and design scalable solutions

• Write unit and integration tests and contribute to clean, maintainable code

• Produce technical documentation

• Participate in code reviews and make recommendations for improvement

• Collaborate with PMs, BAs, Engineers, and clients throughout the software lifecycle

• Proficiency in TypeScript and the MERN stack

• Knowledge of React, Next.js, and Express.js

• Demonstrated experience with blockchain or Web3 development (e.g. Solidity, smart contracts, dApps)

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Excellent time and task management skills

• Experience working in agile teams

• Bachelor degree or higher qualification with a major in IT or a related field is required
• Relevant personal projects or other relevant coding experience.
• 2-4 years' experience in similar roles.
