The Project
Our client is a specialist design advisory consultant within the infrastructure sector. They prepare to manage TMRs interests on a billion-dollar highway upgrade in SEQ – 12km of 4-6 lane dual carriage way including connections, pedestrian and bicycle paths appropriate bridging and drainage for flood mitigation and environmental protections.
We seek expressions of interest from experienced document control specialists interested in playing a critical role in this 3 year project.
The Role
Commencing in November this year, you will work as part of the Design Verification Team during the design and construction stages of the project to co-ordinate and manage the Document Control process on behalf of the team. Your experience will allow you to work proactively with the Administrator’s / Principal’s Document Controller and successful Contractor’s Document Controller to ensure the designed infrastructure meets requirements under the contract.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the DTMR Document Control Management Plan and Incoming Design Register for the project
- Register and track transmittals and documentation, all relevant reporting
- Provide relevant system training and additional support to all Project team members
- Manage and coordinate the design documentation
- Significant experience in project administration and records management (DMS) within transport infrastructure projects
- Prior TMR project experience highly regarded
- Strong experience with InEight software
- Exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills
- Autonomous role, working client side
- Major project environment; security of a 3 year duration
- Potential for further project stages
- Based in central city JV offices, easy access to public transport. Some remote work opportunity.
