About the Role
Joining the Technical & Engineering team. In this senior role, you will be responsible for producing technically compliant structural documentation, including structural fabrication workshop drawings, roll-forming data files, and manufacturing/supplier information.
You will act as the key technical reference point, liaising with consultant engineers and internal stakeholders, while also providing coaching and training support to the team. The role involves working closely with Sales, Manufacturing, Design, Estimating, and Construction teams to coordinate engineering design requirements, conduct manufacturing inspections, and undertake occasional site visits.
About You
You are a confident decision maker with proven experience in Revit (this is a non-negotiable) requirement. You bring a strong background in construction, residential, and modular projects, with the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
You will also have:
- A tertiary qualification in structural drafting/detailing.
- Demonstrated expertise in structural, fabrication, or production detailing/documentation.
- Advanced knowledge of Revit and familiarity with steel framing or structural steel shop drawing software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
