At Levanta, we are seeking a Graduate Projects Engineer to join our team at the Brisbane Head Office within the Projects and Manufacturing department. This is a permanent, full-time position that falls under the category of Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics. As a Projects Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Projects team with various projects within the manufacturing domain.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Work with the Sales and Project Management teams to support any requirements related to equipment sourcing for contract tender processing including quote assessments.
• Complete tasks relating to obtaining compliance with authorities and complete documentation (Permits, authorisations etc.) as required under the instruction of the PM’s.
• Manage project equipment and other project related items via MYOB Exo Job Costing.
• Track excess material on projects (reverse stock) and document accordingly.
• Familiarise with commercial and technical project related detail when required and instructed by the Project Management Team.
• Building Bill of Materials (BOM) for Projects
• Receipt BOM fittings and materials for projects
• Complete BOM reports for projects as directed by the PM.
• Arrange site hire equipment and freight for projects as required.
• Actively coordinate various elements of project “take off” as directed.
• Create project “job packs” for projects.
• Ensure all project documentation is developed, complete and regularly updated on behalf of the PM.
• Hands-on preparation work such as kit builds as required

• Proven experience in project engineering within a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Must have completed a degree in Engineering or be in your final year
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to liaise with cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated proficiency in using relevant software and tools for project planning and documentation
• Aptitude for identifying process improvements and implementing efficient solutions
• Adherence to health, safety, and quality standards in all project activities
• Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field (e.g. BEng or MEng)
• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
